TINT AND LAMINATION

What is BROW TINT AND LAMINATION?

A chemical “lifting” cream is applied to soften and straighten your brow hairs, which are then brushed into a lifted, fluffy shape and set with a neutralizer to create a full, sleek, brushed-up look that keeps hairs in place for weeks—think of it like a perm for your eyebrows, but instead of curls it makes them look fuller and more structured. AND THEN WE USE Brow tint. A semi-permanent dye is applied to darken the brow hairs, helping to fill in sparse areas and make brows look thicker without makeup; the tint usually fades over a few weeks. Your technician cleans up and designs your brows using waxing, threading, or tweezing to define the arch, tail, and overall symmetry.
WHO NEEDS THIS?

Anyone who wants thicker, fuller brows without daily styling. It smooths unruly or cowlick-prone hairs and gives a lifted, more youthful brow shape, AND TINT MAKES IT MORE SATURATED. Works well for sparse brows.

    • Anyone with cuts, burns, sunburn, or irritated skin around the brows

    • People with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or active acne near the area

    • Clients with very sensitive skin or known allergies to cosmetic chemicals

    • Those with recent PMU, microblading, nano brows, or cosmetic procedures (usually wait 6–8 weeks)

    • Anyone using strong retinoids, Accutane, or exfoliating skincare near the brows

    • People with extremely weak, overprocessed, or sparse brow hairs

    • Clients experiencing active eye infections or inflammation

    • Some pregnant clients, especially in the first trimester, should consult their doctor first

A patch test 24–48 hours before treatment is strongly recommended to reduce the risk of irritation or allergic reaction.

  • To get the best results and avoid irritation:

    • Avoid retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliants around the brow area for at least 48–72 hours.

    • Do not wax, thread, or tweeze your brows right before your appointment. Ideally, wait 1-2 days.

    • Avoid sunburn or tanning on the face

    • Come with clean brows (no makeup, oils, or skincare on the area)

    • Let your artist know if you have:

      • Sensitive skin

      • Recent chemical peels

      • Any skin conditions

    • Keep brows completely dry for 24 hours

    • No steam, sweating, or saunas

    • Avoid touching, rubbing, or sleeping directly on brows

    • Do not apply makeup or skincare on the brow area

    • Tint may fade faster if you wash your face frequently and use strong skincare products.

    • Avoid heat (hot showers, steam rooms, workouts).

HOW IS THE PROCESS

‍ cleaning the brow area

After booking your appointment, we will discuss what brow styling you want, your skin type, and any allergies you may have. We will thoroughly clean your brows to remove makeup, oil, and dirt. This helps the products penetrate evenly.

You may request a patch test 24h before the treatment.

‍ soften the hair

A lifting cream (similar to a perm solution) is applied to break down the hair bonds so they can be reshaped. This serum cleverly opens the brow hair cuticles, making them more flexible and much easier to brush into the position you want.

Brows are brushed into the desired direction (usually upward and outward).

‍ ‍Setting (Neutralizing)

A neutralizer/setting lotion is applied to rebuild the hair bonds in their new position.

This lotion allows us to position and shape the eyebrow’s hair, and it locks the hairs into the lifted shape.

Shaping and tweezing

After the structure is set, the excess hair is tweezed or trimmed. The brow shape is refined.

tint

We determine the ideal color based on skin tone and hair color. A protective barrier (petroleum jelly) is applied around the brows to prevent skin staining. A semi-permanent dye is carefully mixed and applied with precision to the brow hairs (and sometimes lightly to the skin for added definition), left on for a few minutes to achieve the desired depth, and finally removed.

nourish and fixing

A conditioning oil or serum is applied to rehydrate the hair and restore shine and flexibility.
