MICROBLADING

What Is microblDING?

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that enhances your eyebrows by creating fine, hair-like strokes with a small handheld tool that uses tiny needles and pigment. It’s designed to fill in sparse areas, improve shape, and give the brows a fuller, more natural appearance without looking like a traditional solid tattoo.

The results typically last about 12–24 months and fade gradually over time, with occasional touch-ups needed to maintain the look. Because the pigment is placed more superficially than in regular tattoos, microblading offers a softer, more natural finish that heals in about 1–2 weeks and fully settles within a month.

Why Microblading?

Microblading is a great option if you want fuller, more defined eyebrows without the daily hassle of filling them in with makeup. It enhances your natural brow shape by adding realistic, hair-like strokes, making sparse or uneven brows look more balanced and polished. This can help frame your face and give you a more put-together appearance with minimal effort.

Another reason people choose microblading is the long-lasting convenience. Results can last 12–24 months, saving time in your daily routine while still looking natural. It’s especially helpful for those with thin brows, hair loss, or anyone who wants a consistent, low-maintenance look that doesn’t smudge or wash

  • Factors That Can Impact Your Healed Results:

    • Medications and Health Conditions: Certain medications and health issues can slow down healing or alter the final look of the brows.

    • Skin Conditions: Oily skin, dry/flaky skin, sun damage, or loose skin can affect how the pigment settles.

    • Natural Skin Undertones: Your skin’s undertones may influence the final healed color.

    • Alcohol Intake and Smoking: These can delay healing and negatively affect the results.

    • Stress and Immune System: High stress or a weakened immune system can slow down the healing process.

    • Poor Diet: An unhealthy diet may delay recovery and impact the results.

    • Aftercare: Not following aftercare instructions properly can lead to poor healing, patchy pigmentation, or other issues.

Following these guidelines and considering these factors will help ensure a safe microblading procedure and the best possible results. Always consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

  • Avoid Certain Products and Treatments:

    • One week before Stop using any skin treatments like chemical peels, Retin-A, retinoids, AHA/BHA products, and exfoliants. These can thin the skin and increase sensitivity.

    • 24-48 hours before: Avoid using skincare products containing alcohol or strong acids around the eyebrow area.

Do Not Wax or Thread Eyebrows:

    • Avoid plucking, waxing, threading, or tinting your eyebrows at least one week before the appointment. The technician needs to work with your natural eyebrow shape.

    Avoid Blood-Thinning Substances:

    • 72 hours before: Avoid consuming alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood-thinning medications. These can increase the risk of bleeding during the procedure.

    • Two weeks before: Avoid fish oil, vitamin E, or other supplements that can thin the blood.

    Avoid Caffeine and Energy Drinks:

    • On the day of your appointment, avoid drinking coffee, tea, or any other caffeinated beverages, as they can increase sensitivity and cause slight bleeding.

    Moisturize and Hydrate:

    • Ensure that your skin is well-hydrated. Drink plenty of water leading up to the procedure, and follow your regular skincare routine, focusing on moisturizing your skin.

    Do Not Tan or Sunbathe:

    • Avoid sun exposure or tanning for at least two weeks before the procedure. Sunburned or tanned skin is more sensitive and can lead to poor results.

Consider Your Health and Medical Conditions:

    • If you have any medical conditions like diabetes, skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis), or take medication, consult your doctor beforehand to ensure microblading is safe for you.

    • Pregnant or breastfeeding women are generally advised not to undergo microblading.

    Prepare Mentally:

    • Discuss your desired eyebrow shape and color with your technician during the consultation. Bring inspirational photos if necessary.

    • Be aware of the healing process: The initial healing period lasts around 7-10 days, and the final results may take up to a month to fully appear. Your eyebrows will likely go through phases of scabbing and lightening.

    Dress Comfortably:

    • Wear comfortable clothing, as the procedure can take 1.5 to 2 hours. Avoid white or delicate clothing since pigment might accidentally stain them.

      Stay Relaxed:

    • Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique, but the procedure is generally safe when performed by a professional. Keep calm and trust the process.

Brow Mapping

Once we’ve finalized your ideal brow shape, we’ll begin by mapping and hand-drawing your new brows for you to preview. To ensure balance and a natural look. Our focus is to enhance what’s already uniquely yours. We’ll then choose the most suitable color and shape based on your preferences, skin tone, and facial structure.

Numbing

To keep you comfortable, we use A topical anesthetic before your microblading session begins, allowing you to relax as it takes effect. While many clients worry about discomfort, most are pleasantly surprised by how minimal it is.

THE procedure

Once you’re fully comfortable and numb, we begin the treatment. Each hair stroke is carefully created to replicate the natural color, thickness, and direction of your existing brow hair. This technique is performed using a sterile, single-use needle to ensure both precision and safety. Microblading is a highly detailed art form that should only be performed by a trained professional. This portion of the procedure typically takes about 30- 40minutes.
