CORRECTION AND COVER-UP
Who needs Correction and Cover-up?
Needs Correction (fixing/adjusting existing PMU — often the same artist's own work, or minor fixes)
Uneven pigment retention after healing (some strokes/areas faded more than others)
Color that healed too warm, cool, ashy, or the wrong tone for their skin
Shape or symmetry that's slightly off after the initial healing process
Pigment that migrated slightly outside the intended lines
Brows/lips that faded unevenly over time and need refreshing before it's a full cover-up situation
Needs Cover-up (correcting someone else's prior work)
Old, poorly done microblading/PMU with an unnatural shape (too thin, too high, too rounded, "surprised" brow look)
Faded PMU that's turned an undesirable color as it ages — commonly: Brows that faded to blue, gray, or reddish/orange and Lips that faded to a muddy brown, gray, or blue tone
PMU done years ago with outdated techniques (solid block color, harsh blocky shapes) that looks dated compared to modern hairstroke/shading techniques
Botched or "scratcher" work — done by an unlicensed or inexperienced person, often uneven, asymmetrical, or oversaturated
Clients who moved and can't return to their original artist, but have PMU that needs touching up or adjusting
Scarring or uneven skin texture from a previous procedure that needs to be worked around
What is Correction and Cover-up?
Using a small, ultra-fine needle, pigment is gently deposited into the epidermis in the shape of individual brow hairs, allowing us to expertly blend, soften, or rework existing color and shape while creating fuller, more defined brows. We produce realistic results that suit all skin types—including oily skin—and can last 1–3 years with proper care, making it an effective option for refreshing or correcting outdated or uneven eyebrow tattoos.

Factors That Can Impact Your Healed Results:
Medications and Health Conditions: Certain medications and health issues can slow down healing or alter the final look of the brows.
Skin Conditions: Oily skin, dry/flaky skin, sun damage, or loose skin can affect how the pigment settles.
Natural Skin Undertones: Your skin’s undertones may influence the final healed color.
Alcohol Intake and Smoking: These can delay healing and negatively affect the results.
Stress and Immune System: High stress or a weakened immune system can slow down the healing process.
Poor Diet: An unhealthy diet may delay recovery and impact the results.
Aftercare: Not following aftercare instructions properly can lead to poor healing, patchy pigmentation, or other issues.
Following these guidelines and considering these factors will help ensure a safe microblading procedure and the best possible results. Always consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Book a Discovery Call
You can choose to book either an in-person appointment or schedule a FaceTime call to go over your goals, discuss your specific needs in detail, and determine whether you’re a good candidate for the service. This consultation allows us to answer any questions you may have, review your brow concerns, and recommend the best approach tailored to you.
Possibility ONE
Many can be improved depending on how they heal.
Faded Microblading / Nanoblading.Old strokes that have lightened to a soft gray or brown are the easiest to go over, and also discolored to Ashy.
Uneven. If parts of the brows faded more than others, new strokes can balance them out.
thin. Nanoblading can extend and reshape if the old pigment isn’t too dark.
Possibility TWO
You might need to remove your existing work done on your brows to create a clean, even canvas. After that, follow the studio’s pre-care instructions. If the old work is too dark or misshapen, you may need to have Saline or Laser removal before doing a new nanoblading/microblading.
~ Avoid harsh at-home treatments that could irritate the skin!

MEET THE ARTIST
My name is Dorsa, and I’m a certified permanent makeup artist with extensive education and experience in micropigmentation.
My passion for permanent makeup began when I saw how a simple transformation could make someone feel more confident and beautiful in their own skin. I love creating natural, personalized results that enhance each client’s unique features.
I don’t believe brows should look identical on everyone. The best brows are the ones that look like they were always meant to be there.
My goal is to make every client feel comfortable, cared for, and confident from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
